Quality Assurance Analyst in Remote at Covu Inc Details

Description for Covu Inc Quality Assurance Analyst

We’re looking for an experienced QA Analyst to join our Insurer product team. The ideal candidate is a detailed-oriented QA professional who is interested in developing and executing test plans and test cases specially on data and APIs. Should have deep understanding of most insurance policy service and sales transactions and is comfortable with different product components (web, native, backend, integrations, etc.).

Responsibilities for Covu Inc Quality Assurance Analyst

Develop high-level test plans based on the epic definition and feature design that includes the strategy for manual testing (functional, negative, security, integration, regression, etc.)
Analyze and get clarification on Story Acceptance Criterias
Define end to end testing including cross system integrations and application packages across multiple work streams
Create Test Plans and Test cases for new and existing features with detailed approach of testing, scheduling, and test exit criteria
Submit bugs in JIRA and follow up with the team on scheduled fixes prior to product launch
Analyze the APIs that connect applications and data across multiple enterprise applications
Validate data imported from XML, CSV, databases and flat files using scripts
Create, modify and/or locate the data and conditions needed to execute test cases
Work with cross functional teams to run data integration tests on lower test environments
Identify regression tests for developing automation test suite
Work with the team to investigate post production bugs

Skills for Covu Inc Quality Assurance Analyst

5+ years of QA experience working as part of Scrum/Agile Teams
Knowledge of all phases of SDLC and STLC
Experience writing SQL queries and data testing
Experience with API testing using tools like Postman
Experience working with Jira and Xray
Has 3+ years of insurance industry experience. (Huge plus)
Experience with Salesforce platform – Preference is Community Cloud (Huge plus)
Has experience working in early-stage startups (Huge plus)
