Description for Associate Software Engineer

Uses education and basic skills to define and/or address project needs.
Develops application knowledge in specific product suite, technical environment and technologies.
Adheres to standards and always abreast of the updates on the tools and standard operating procedures.
Performs maintenance and enhancement of existing product modules.
Prepares program documentation of product components. Ensures products conform to design or usability requirements Performs troubleshooting in development and customer environments Provides product release support.
Guidance and instruction is readily available and work is closely monitored until incumbent exhibits the necessary skills and confidence to handle projects more independently
