As a Tester or Senior Test-Engineer, you will consult to our top tier client base, covering all areas of the testing lifecycle in multiple industries. Using your expertise in all levels of test methodologies and processes, you will work in a team responsible for the analysis and planning of large scale projects and providing estimates for test resources.
Review requirements for testability.
Consult with clients for user and systems requirements when documentation is insufficient.
Determine test conditions/ test objectives
Create comprehensive test cases relevant to test conditions.
Execute test cases and report results.
Raise and close defects when necessary
Report results periodically to managers across the business.
Mentors Junior staff in requirement review best practices, applying test techniques to test areas, ensuring all defects are logged correctly with supporting evidence ready for evaluation
Independently delivers allocated components of work or small projects with only limited direction at the outset.
Skills and Experience:
Possess in-depth experience in all areas of the SDLC/STLC.
Manage the defect process when required
Skills across numerous test levels, supporting Agile, V-Model, Waterfall and Hybrid testing methodologies.
Mentor fellow team members in areas of project expertise
Working within a team responsible for the analysis and planning of the testing within large scale projects
Providing estimates for testing activities (time, people, environments etc.)
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills is a must.
Note: Successful candidate must-attend for Testing Fundamental exam (The exam is based on the Fundamentals of Testing and is aimed to assess your current knowledge across SDLC/STLC, your processes, and overall knowledge taken during all testing processes/projects. There are two components to the exam, encompassing 10 multiple choice questions, and 15 short/long answer questions. There are also 3 compulsory questions that need to be correct in order to pass the exam.)
