Responsibilities/ Duties
Collaborate with the team to understand project requirements and develop comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Execute manual test cases to validate the functionality, performance, and usability of software applications.
Identify, document, and track defects discovered during testing, and work closely with the development team to resolve them.
Perform regression testing to ensure that previously tested functionality continues to work as expected after changes have been made.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that testing activities align with project timelines and objectives.
Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing methodologies.
Criteria for the Role!
Strong understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
Knowledge of creating and executing manual test cases and test plans.
Basic knowledge of programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and browser debugging tools.
Familiarity with API testing using tools like Postman.
Familiarity with bug-tracking tools and test management systems.
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
