India’s economic infrastructure needs a complete overhaul. Today our digital economy rides on rickety monolithic systems built in the mid-90s. It takes months to do a simple bank integration and launch a fintech product. This inefficiency cannot continue. Description for Automation and QA Engineer

This is a mission-critical role. We are a small, diverse, agile, and high-performance engineering team. We’re looking for versatile QA and Automation engineers who will:

Take responsibility for end to end testing and delivery of the products at Setu.
Improve through peer-learning and transmit them to peers.
Take ownership and get the job done. We need role shapers, not role takers.

Requirements

Who are we looking for?
The Automation Engineer role involves working across various products at Setu. You get exposure across various products in the fintech domain.
Architecting: Design and develop automation and tests from scratch. Help architect the test frameworks and design tools to help internal teams and customers.
Ownership: End-to-end ownership of product delivery right from development to production stage. Own the product to make sure the best version of the product is delivered to the customer.
Orchestration and integration: Interact with the larger engineering team for integrating your work into the ecosystem. Design tests and automation which are self-serve and can be integrated with CI/CD pipelines. Interact with the Product team to understand the product requirements and the development team to understand the product designs. Interact with the Support team to understand issues post release.
Mentorship: We all love to learn and grow as engineers and human beings and we believe in synchronous growth as a team fueled by each and every individual’s personal abilities, specializations, and interests. To enable this you’ll be required to mentor others by sharing your expertise in various forms and be subject to be mentored by others and thus maintain a continuous learning culture.
Documentation: Create advanced technical content including articles, samples, whitepapers, and training.
